VibeForge Terms of Service (draft)

Effective: 2026-10-30 (amendment announced 2026-10-23 — sections 7a and 7b added; sections 3, 7 and 7b updated) · Contact: projectteamforyou@gmail.com

1. What the service is. VibeForge coordinates AI coding tools, your repositories and PCs you register ("workers") to build, test, verify and prepare releases. It does not replace Git hosting.

2. No promise of perfection. We show the results of the builds, tests and checks you define — nothing more. Jobs without tests are labeled "tests not configured". Production deploys, code signing and store submissions never run without your explicit approval.

3. Accounts and credentials. Keep your account, API keys and worker tokens safe; we store tokens only as hashes. AI tool accounts, subscriptions and keys (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, etc.) are used only by you, on your own PC. Sharing them with other users or workers is prohibited. You can sign in with GitHub, Google or an email sign-in link; the same verified email is treated as one account. When the owner of an email signs in for the first time to an account that was created without email verification, all keys issued before that are revoked.

4. Workers and your resources. A PC is registered only with a one-time code you issue. We never use resources without consent. You can pause or revoke a worker at any time and choose allowed job tiers, concurrency, hours and price. The public worker network (running other people's jobs) stays disabled until security verification (isolation, secret protection, network limits) is complete. You understand that electricity, bandwidth and wear may apply.

5. Credits. A job's budget is held in advance, and only jobs the server has verified are charged for actual usage. Failed, canceled and timed-out jobs are refunded in full. Of verified usage, 85% goes to the worker owner and 15% is the platform fee. Earnings are not guaranteed. The ledger is never edited; corrections are made with reversing entries. Cash payouts will be announced separately after legal review.

6. Prohibited. Malware, attempts to access another user's files or network, forging results, stealing secrets, exhausting resources, or building/distributing infringing code. Violations may lead to worker suspension, account termination and credit reversal.

7. Your code. You own and are responsible for your code and build commands. We do not train on or sell your code; we process it only to run, verify and audit your jobs. Source you upload (ZIP or folder) must be yours to upload and must not contain secrets such as passwords or API keys; we may refuse ZIPs that fail our path and size checks. "Build from a folder on my PC" reads only the folder you choose, only on that PC; because the server cannot see the original, it never earns the verified badge (see 7b).

7a. AI changes and pull requests. Changes made by AI tasks and auto-fixes are suggestions. Even after the server re-verifies them with your defined build and tests, you review them and decide whether to merge. The service rejects AI changes to risky paths (CI configuration, secret files and the like) and limits attempts, time and repeated identical errors. Pull requests are created by the service server with GitHub App permissions; worker PCs never get write access to your repository. Costs and limits of AI tools follow your agreement with the AI provider.

7b. Releases and the verification badge. Releases can be created only from jobs the server has verified, and a server-signed record (commit, checksums, quality result, worker PC name and OS) is available at a public URL. The badge states that record as-is: "Build and tests verified" means the defined tests passed; without tests it reads "Build only · no tests". The badge does not guarantee an app's quality, safety or fitness. GitHub Releases and AppRun releases run only when you click them. Builds whose source the server could not confirm (a folder on your PC) read "Build only · source unverified" even if tests pass.

8. Changes. We may change or stop features for security, legal or operational reasons and will give 7 days' notice of material changes.

9. Liability. Except for intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for the correctness of build results, damage to your PC, or third-party outages. Statutory consumer rights are not limited.

10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
